This course gives delegates practical knowledge of the techniques and products of the foreign exchange markets.

objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • communicate intuitively about FX products and their associated applications and risks,
  • calculate a cross rate and understand the risks of the spot market,
  • calculate forward rates, determine forward points, and understand the risks associated with forward transactions,
  • understand and communicate the applications of non-deliverable forwards, and
  • understand and communicate the applications of FX swaps.

The course is suitable for any member of staff whose work involves contact with the FX markets, such as middle office staff, junior FX trading and sales staff, corporate relationship managers, and new front office hires in all areas.
